Please plan to attend the monthly meetings of the Vinton Booster Club that are held the first Thursday of each month (except as noted below) at the Vinton Senior Center at 7:00pm to support our organization and receive important information regarding your child's recreational sports activities. The meetings are scheduled for Thursdays as follows: Dec 1st, Jan 14th, Feb 4th, Mar 4th, May 6th, June 3rd, July 1st, Sept 2nd, Oct 7th, Nov 4th, Dec 9th.
2010 FALL SPORTS REGISTRATION FOR VINTON BOOSTER CLUB
The Vinton Booster Club is pleased to announce the
sign-up dates for Cheerleading, Football and Soccer.Qualifications:
Cheerleading: Between 6 - 18 years old on or before September 30, 2010Football: Between 6 - 12 years old on or before September 30, 2010 - See Weight Restrictions information in the 2010 Youth Team Sports Regulations document that can be viewed online at the Roanoke County Parks & Recreation Website, Youth Team Sports section.
Soccer (Boys & Girls): Between 6 - 18 years old by July 31, must turn 6 on or before September 30, 2010
All new players must mail a copy of their original birth certificate to Vinton Booster Club, PO Box 403, Vinton, VA 24179.
This is required for insurance purposes and for player eligibility.
Sign-Up Fee Schedule: Sport Fees: Soccer One Child - $70.00 Two Children - $130.00 Three or more: $190.00 Football One Child - $85.00 Two Children - $160.00 Three or more: $235.00 Cheerleading One Child - $65.00 Two Children - $120.00 Three or more: $175.00 Note: any combination of the above sports per family automatically generate a $5 per player discount, IF online signups occur at the same time.
Late Registration Dates are July 1, 2010 to July 15, 2010 and includes a 55%($36) per child late fee.All registrations must be submitted online, and should be done using a Visa/MasterCard credit or debit card. If you do not pay with a credit/debit card, then register online and mail a check at once to the Vinton Booster Club, P.O. Box 403, Vinton, VA 24179. Please remember, only after payment is received does the online application become active and the player may be assigned to a team, uniform ordered, etc.

Refund Policy: Refund after sign-ups are completed CAN be made up to final team selections. NO REFUNDS will be made after uniforms have been ordered and insurance paid.
Scholarships: are available for consideration on an as needed basis and approved by the board of directors. Request an application from dawnchelm@cox.net. Scholarships requests MUST be received and filed for board approval by June 30, 2010, and will not be accepted or considered after this date. We will be selling Raffle tickets to raise money to offset equipment and insurance costs for all sports. Further details will be relayed through the coaches.
